Imagine a Church world without “the envelope.” Since 2005 parishioners around the country have joined Faith Direct’s cause in transforming how the faithful donate to their parish and diocese.
It was a rather simple concept: the ability to have a pre-determined, automatic deduction taken for offertory and second collection donations. Faith Direct pioneered a full service approach to eGiving where the methodology of how an eGiving program is promoted to parishioners and managed for parishes is often the difference between a successful program, and one that falls short of its potential.
Today, with thousands of parishioners making informed decisions on writing their last check, and switching over to eGiving for their stewardship commitments, the vision for a more sustainable form of Church collections has become a reality.
By 2015 due to changes in the banking world and consumer trends, 80% of Church collections will have to be processed electronically. With parishes and Dioceses embracing this new way of giving around the country, eGiving is the most exciting offertory and second collection program to be introduced to our Church in 75 years.
Today we have a Church where the envelope joins wheat, grain and livestock as the offerings of the past... a world where eGiving is the new “first fruit” that drives the success of our Church donations’ future.
